The wooden two-mast galeasse ALBANUS was built in 1904 by the shipsbuilder Johan August Henriksen in Appelö, Hammarland, North Åland, for his own account.
Launched under the name ALBANUS.
Tonnage 35.39 net, dim. 18.17 x 6.04 x 1.05m.
She was used by Henriksen for the transport of firewood, agricultural products and other goods from Åland to Stockholm, Helsinki and other ports in the Baltic around the turn of the century.
03 March 1908 was she sold to Gustaf Mauritz Danielsen en Johan Konrad Henriksson in Sottunga.
1916 Sold to Nystad, Finland.
Later sold to Raumo.
1929 Struck from the registry, after grounding.
1989 A replica of the ALBANUS was completed in the Åland Islands.
