It is given that the brigantine PERSEUS is depict on this stamp, but I can not find any ship under that name in the Russian Imperial Navy, I think the translation is wrong and the brig PERSEI is depict, the stamp shows us a brig rigged vessel. When I put Perseus and Persei in Google Translate I got the same name as given on the stamp. So I believe the PERSEI is depict and was in service in the Imperial Russian Navy.

She was built by the shipbuilder G.V.Afanasyevat Nikolæv, for the Russian Imperial Navy.
16 June 1839 laid down.
23 June 1841 launched as PERSEI on of the Femistokl class.
Tonnage?, dim. 32.1 x 10.2 x 5m., draught 4.1m.
Armament 2 – 8 pdr. and 14 – 18 pdr. carronades.

From 1841 – 1843 in service in the Black Sea.
1843 – 1844 Stationed in the Arkhipelago (Aegean Sea), Greece.
1846 – 1848 in service in the Black Sea.
1851 – 1854 again stationed in the Arkhipelago.
1854 Sold at Zara (Zadar, Croatia).

Ukraine 2002 40k sg?, scott?
