Built as an offshore patrol boat by Constructions Mécaniques de Normandie, Cherbourg, France for the French Navy.

25 January 1985 launched under the name LA GLORIEUSE (P 687) one of the P400 type patrol boats.
Displacement 373 tons standard, 477 ton full load. Dim. 54.8 x 8 x 2.54m.
Powered by 2 SEMT Pielstick Pa 4 V200 VGDS diesels, 3.700 hp each, twin fixed propellers, maximum speed 24 knots.
Range 4.500 miles @ 14.5 knots.
Bunker capacity 75-ton gas oil, 20-ton fresh water.
The type has two loading compartments of 20 m³. One electric crane of 2.5 ton.
Armament: 1 – 40mm, 1 – 20mm guns and 2 MG of 7.5mm.
Crew 26.
25 March 1987 completed.
18 April 1987 taken in the French Navy, and she was based at Nouméa, New Caledonia.
2006 Still in service.
