Built as an iron barque on the yard of Chantiers de Normandie at Rouen, France for E.Corblet & Co. at Le Havre.
23 March 1901 launched under the name SUZANNE.
Tonnage 2.691 gross, 2.270 net. Dim. 86 x 12.5 x 7.9m. (draught)
Sail area of 2.631 square meters. Crew around 24.
Her maiden voyage was from Le Havre to Noumea in 89 days.
Her career was not extreme long but uneventful, sailing through the First World War undamaged.
27 Dec. 1920 sailed from La Rochelle, France for her last voyage to Australia
15 Sept. 1921 arrived at Falmouth after a voyage of 143 days from Port Victoria, Australia. Not a fast passage but due to poor Atlantic winds that year all sailingships from Australia made slow passages.
After discharge laid up in France.
1925 Broken up at Spain.
