Bolshaya Volga

Post by john sefton » Mon Apr 26, 2010 8:58 pm

BOLSHAYA VOLGA, oil barge built by the Krasnoe Shipbuilding and Engineering Co., at Volshaya, on the River Volga. One of the few barges on stamps that seem to bear a name. She is motorised and is probably used for refuelling river passenger vessels on the Volga as well as oil stations.
