Featured on the 5Gs. stamp from Paraguay is the 3‑masted ship Humboldt, which was built in 1851 at Lubeck for the Hamburg shipping firm of Sloman, founded by William Sloman, a British seaman, in 1785. The stamp is taken from the painting by C. J. Fedeler, in the Morgenstem Museum, Bremerhaven.
