The two stamps for the Red Cross in Monaco issued in 1991 and designed by Lambert depict, a small boat with two people in it, the boatman and most probably his wife, the lower value depict: when they during a terrible storm sighted Hercules Port in Monaco.
The other stamp shows the same boat and helped by a dove which piloted the boat in when they entered Port Hercules and safety.
It is now the only deep-water port in Monaco, and has been used since ancient times.
