Built as a landings craft under yard No SS230 by Sarawak Slipways at Miri, Malaysia for the Workboat Service Ltd., Falkland Islands.
20 December 2005 laid down.
21 September 2006 launched as CONCORDIA BAY.
Tonnage 483 grt, 144 nrt, 1,001 dwt. Dim. 49.88 x 10.9 x 3.2m., length bpp. 45.5m.
Powered by a 6-cyl.diesel engine type KTA-19-M3, 477 kW, manufactured by Cummings Engine Co. Ltd.
Before delivery she was extensive rebuilt to make her suitable for service in the Falkland Islands.
She can carry on deck 10 TEU’s
One crane of 10 tons.
Can carry on her 30 metre long deck,16 one-ton Land Rovers, eight four ton trucks or a combination of trucks and containers.
26 April 2008 delivered to owners.

The CONCORDIA BAY is the Falkland Islands inter island ferry and island resupply vessel operated by Workboat Services Ltd and also used as passenger vessels in which she has accommodation for 30 day passengers but she has no overnight facilities.
She operates the year round only during the winter season is she for a short period out of service for maintenance.
She is the only shipping link in the islands with the outer islands and West Falkland.
She is based at New Haven a modern roll-on-roll-off ferry terminal, which was opened in 2008. Building cost of the terminal was £1.5 million.
When possible she can beached on the beach, she has a bow ramp which can be lowered on the beach.
A kedge anchor on the stern can keep her in position on the beach, and when necessary can pull her off the beach.
Places where she can not beach, she carried a Sea Truck where she can unload and load in and ferry it to the shore.
