TWEE GEBROEDERS skûtsje

On this Miniature Sheet of Netherland “Mooi Nederland’ (Beautiful Netherland) is the town Sneek depict with all kind of historic buildings etc. from that town.
On the stamp is a skûtsje (tjalk) depict, which as given by the Dutch PTT that it was the PETER PAN the skûtsje of the town Sneek.
Ship lovers of the skûtsjes, after seen the stamp did not agree that she was the PETRE PAN but it skûtsje of Earnewoude, Friesland, the TWEE GEBROEDERS (Two Brothers). http://www.skutsjesilen.nl/nieuws/toch- ... neker-pan/ in Dutch.

Built as a cargo vessel at the yard De Nijverheid of Jan Oebeles van der Werf at Drachten/Buitenstvallaat for skipper Jacobus Gooije Finnema at Woudsend, Friesland.
Launched as the TWEE GEBROEDERS named after the two sons of the skipper.
Tonnage 42.44 ton, dim. 19.03 x 3.64 x 1.14m.
1930 Completed.

1954 Sold to J van Wageningen, not renamed.
1991 Was she sold to Johannes Taekema, Wezep, Netherlands, not renamed. Under skipper Henk Taekema she took part in the IFKS skûtsjes races.
2000 Was she sold to Fa. Kuipers Funderingstechniek at Lemmer, not renamed, and she took again part in the IFKS skûtsjes races.
2006 Was she sold to Stichting Earnewaldster Skûtsje, at Earnewoude, not renamed and that summer in July/August took part in the SKS races.
2012 Under skipper Gerard Pietersma she was fourth in the SKS skûtsje races that year.
