Launched 25th March 1964 Laid down 19th June 1963. Completed January 1966.
Built for Royal Navy. L360'(wl) 372'(oa) B41', Dr18' (max) (L 113.38m B12.50m D5.49m) 2.300 std. 2,800 full load. Two sets White-English Electric GT. 2 Babcock & Wilson 3 drum boilers Two 5 bladed props. 30,000shp 28kn.
Armament Two 4.5"DP. Two 40 mm AA. One quad Seacat launcher. One Limbo DCM. One Wasp helicopter.
Complement 17 officers and 234/245 ratings. One of 19 vessels as built.Conversion Oct 1977 to second group or "Exocet Leander class" (nine vessels). Guided Missile Frigate Pennant No F28. Displacement 2,450 tons (2,860 full load) Armament Four MM.38 Exocet. Two 40 mm AA. Three quad Seacat launchers. Six ASW TT One Wasp (later Lynx) helicopter
