DEVASTATION. Wooden Paddle Sloop. Built in 1841 by Woolwich Dockyard for the Royal Navy. Launched 3rd July 1841.
L180'. B36'. 1,058tn. bm. Steam engine. Armed with 6 guns. Broken up September 1886 at Castle, Charlton. She is the ship second from the right on stamp - Jamaica 1919. 6d. SG98a (LB 2/73. EWA Vol 1. p20)
