Serbian post launched a stamp issue to celebrate the 1700th anniversary of the Edict of Milan. The Edict of Milan, signed in the spring 313 by the Roman emperors Constantine the Great and Licinius, is the best-known piece of legislation in the history of mankind. This edict made the Christian religion equal with other religions in the area of the Empire and conditions were acquired so few decades later (395) Christianity became state religion.
