GLOUCESTER. 4th Rate. 50 guns. Built in 1737 at Sheerness Dockyard. 866tn(bm): L134' (gundeck) B38'6". She was damaged in a storm and burnt near Ladrones in 1742 to avoid capture by the Spanish - Guernsey 1990. 20p. 2p. SG497/8 (WP 1991)
