BREKI VE 61. Built in 1976 by Slippstöðin hf. Akureyri, 491 GRT. Was renamed GUDMUNDER JONSSON GK 425 and considered the most advanced vessel in Iceland. Restored by Slippstöðin Akureyri 1978. Sold to Norway in 2007 as scrap metal.
Built as a sterntrawler under yard No 57 for Ålftaver Fell hf, Stödvarfjördur, Iceland.
01 December 1974 keel laid down. Work was stopped due to lack of facilities in the homeport.
29 February 1976 launched as the GUDMUNDUR JONSSON GK 425.
Tonnage 491 grt, dim. 49.9 x 9.5m., length bpp.39.1m.
Powered by one diesel engine ?, speed ?
13 July 1976 complete, with homeport Sandgerdi.

Early 1978 got on fire at the Slippstödin shipyard in Akureyri but later that year she was repaired by the shipyard. She was renamed BREKI VE 61.
1988 Lengthened, tonnage 924 grt, 281 dwt. Dim. ?
Her fishing number changed later to KE 61.
February 2007 sold to Norway and under the name BREKI laid up at Melba with the plan to bring her under Russian flag with homeport Murmansk, but the plan fell through.
24 October 2011 she arrived at Stoksundet, Norway for scrapping but at March 2014 she was still waiting to be broken up at Stoksundet. IMO No 7423055.

Nt:491, Depth:6,61m. Draft:5,80m. 12 cyl. MAN/B&W engine: 2400 hp. (1765 kW.) controllable pitch propeller, speed? ice strengthened, callsign: TFGS.
1978 sold to Fiskimjolsverksmidjan I.V.M. h/f, Vestmannaeyjar, Iceland (LR95/96 gives Vinnslustodin, Vestmannaeayjar)
1988 lengthened, Loa:59,16m. Lbpp:55,05m. Gt:599, Nt:266.
