CIUDAD DE MANIZALES

Built as a cargo vessel under yard No. 237 by Canadian Vickers Ltd. at Montreal for Flota Mercante Grancolobiana S.A.
Launched under the name CIUDAD DE MANIZALES. (As given by Stanley Gibbon as "City of Manizales" is wrong)
Tonnage 3.946 gross, 2.102 net 5.900 dwt., dim. 420.6 x 55.2 x 22.0ft.
Powered by one 6-cyl diesel engine, manufactured by Nordberg Machinefactory Co., Milwaukee, 4.275 bhp., speed 15 knots.
Accommodation for 12 passengers.
June 1949 completed.

On service between North American ports and those of Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador.
The stamp shows her when she is entering the port of New York.

1970 Sold to Cia. Nacional de Navegacao, Columbia, renamed MAITAMA.
1973 Sold to Cia Agropecuaria y Maritima Santa Rosa, Columbia, renamed DARIEN.
1986 Sold to Colombian shipbreakers and she arrived at Mamonal 28 August 1986 for scrapping.
