1951-1952. An open shelter deck motorship with machinery aft, built by the Van der Werf shipyard, Deest, Holland, for NV. Van Nievelt, Goudriaan and Company's Stoomv. Maats., Rotterdam. She was one of six vessels of this company chartered by the Falkland Islands Company between 1951 and 1953 to carry cargo and mail between the United Kingdom and the colony. Her gross tonnage was 491, net 231 and deadweight 817 tons. Built in 1949, her dimensions were: length 211 ft. 7 in., breadth 31 ft. 8 in., draft 11ft 61/2 in.SG333A

Built in 1949 by Scheepswerf Gebroeders van de Werf, Deest, #235, for the firm N.V. van Nievelt Goudriaan & Co., Rotterdam.
Cargo ship, Gt:491, Nt:231, Dw:817, Loa:64,52m. Br:9,73m. D:3,50m. Draught:2,76m. 7 cyl. Werkspoor diesel engine: 700 hp. 10½ kn. IMO.541697, call sign PFYD.
Between ’51-’53 chartered by Falkland Island Co. to carry cargo and mail between the UK and the Falkland Islands.
1963 sold to shipping company Rederij Fortuna, Zwartsluis (R. Buisman’s Koninklijke Fabrieken ) renamed NANNING BUISMAN, manager W.F. Kamp’s Bevrachtingsbedrijf (cargo company).
1969 to A.P. Bouloubassis & N.G. Katsaros, Piraeus (Gr.) as AGIA IRINI, 1977 to Kourion Lines Ltd., Piraeus.
1979 to Fama Maritime Co. Ltd. Limassol, as MY HOPE II.
1981 to Navarra Nav. Co. Limassol, as CLEOPATRA.
On 07-07-1982 stopped by the Jemen Drugs Officers at Hodeidah because of its damaged farmaceutical freight.
02-11-1982 towed from Hodeidah Anchorage including the cargo, during the custody the ship collected water in the engine room, ran to the ground at Ras Katenib and abandoned by the crew, in 02-1991 removed from LR because of serious doubts whether the ship still existed.
