Triadic

The Triadic, was launched as the repair ship, H.M.S. Dungeness at the West Coast Shipbuilding Yard, Vancouver, on March 15, 1945. She was sold in September 1947, and was renamed Leuvuka. Sold again in 1948, she was renamed Triadic. Gross tonnage 7,461, net 5,431. Owned by the British Phosphate Commissioners, she is registered at London. Length is 439 ft. 6 in., beam 57 ft. 2 in. and draft 26 ft. 1 lin.

Built in 1945 by West Coast Shipbuilding, Vancouver BC, as repair ship HMS DUNGENESS.
Sold in 09-1947 to Pacific Shipowners, Fiji, renamed LEVUKA, '48 to British Phosphate Commissioners, London, renamed TRIADIC, Gt:7461, Nt:5431, L:134,22m. B:17,43m. D:10,64m. Draught:8,23m. 2 WT boilers, 3 cyl. triple expansion engine:? hp. built by Canadian Allis Chalmers, 10 kn. pass:36. A.H. Gaze MBE as managers, registered in London.
Regular service between Christmas Island - Australia with general cargo and passengers to the island and back to West Australia with phosphate.
03-1977 broken up in Shanghai.
